I had a mixed experience with Preservation Virginia. While the restoration work at some of their sites is commendable, I found the information available to be lacking. The staff seemed overwhelmed and unable to answer basic questions. Additionally, the pricing for some of the tours was quite steep. Overall, I appreciate their efforts to preserve history, but there is room for improvement.
