2022 Review

During my 2022 onboarding experience with Helius Tech for a role at a local bank, I encountered multiple issues that raised concerns about their professionalism and processes.

Data Privacy Lapses: On more than one occasion, I received emails containing other candidates' resumes including personal information like names and contract details. This is a serious data privacy violation. One employee also confused my documents with those of another candidate.

Lack of Coordination: On August 5th, I submitted all required documents to the onboarding team member handling my case. However, when this person went on leave, there seemed to be no backup or handover process in place. Another team member claimed not to receive my documents until over 2 weeks later, just days before the deadline. This lack of coordination and communication nearly caused a major delay.

Delayed Responses: Despite the urgent timing, the onboarding team did not prioritize responding promptly. My emails went unanswered for days, until finally getting a response on the last working day before the deadline. This negligent lack of urgency reflects poorly on their client service.

While I understand teams can make mistakes, the frequency of lapses over a short period, the severity of their inadequate quality control, data privacy protocols, training, and oversight of their entire operational processes during a critical time-sensitive period was extremely frustrating and unprofessional.
