Boao Forum for Asia is a non-governmental and non-profit international organization that has a fixed conference date and domicile. Boao Forum for Asia is dedicated to promoting Asian countries to achieve common development through further integration of regional economy. It also aims to offer a high-end dialog platform for governments, enterprises, experts, and scholars to jointly discuss economy, society, environment, and other relevant issues. Boao Forum for Asia was formally inaugurated on February 27, 2001 and is headquartered in Beijing, China.
